Terms of Service
The rules for accounts, API usage, and billing.
Effective July 10, 2026. These Terms explain the service, acceptable use, usage-based charges, refunds, and the responsibilities that come with an Adola account.
Agreement and eligibility
- These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and the operator of Adola ("Adola," "we," or "us"). By creating an account, enabling billing, or using the API, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Adola for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
- If you do not agree, do not create an account, enable billing, or use the service.
Accounts and API keys
- You are responsible for accurate account information, activity under your workspace, and keeping sessions and API keys confidential.
- Keep API keys on trusted servers. Revoke a key immediately if it may have been exposed and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
- You may not sell, transfer, or provide access to an account in a way that defeats service limits or allows an unauthorized person to use Adola.
Service and subprocessors
- Adola provides hosted inference, metering, and related dashboard features. Third-party infrastructure and AI service providers process request data as needed to produce a response.
- Models, context limits, features, and availability may change. We may add, replace, or retire a model and will update the public model catalog when we do.
- You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Adola the limited right to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, meter, and support the service as described in the Privacy Policy.
Pricing, authorization, and invoices
- Adola is usage-based. For each successfully metered request, the billable amount is the metered model usage shown by the service, plus a 25% Adola service fee.
- All amounts are in USD. Enabling billing uses Stripe to save a card, and saving the card does not create a charge. You authorize Adola and Stripe to charge that card for accrued usage, applicable taxes, and any amounts disclosed before you incur them.
- There is no recurring subscription, seat charge, or monthly minimum unless a separate written order says otherwise. Revoke API keys to stop new usage. Model rates can change, so request costs can vary. The Pricing page is part of these Terms.
- On the first day of each month at 08:00 UTC, Adola totals successfully metered, previously uninvoiced usage. Whole-cent balances of at least $5 are invoiced and charged automatically; smaller and fractional-cent balances carry forward. If you delete your account while its uninvoiced balance is below $5, Adola waives that remaining balance. You are responsible for keeping a valid card on file and for taxes other than taxes on Adola's income.
Refunds and billing errors
- Usage charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where Adola confirms a billing error. We do not refund correctly metered usage because an AI-generated response was unhelpful or unsuitable for your application.
- Report a suspected billing error to billing@adola.app within 30 days after the charge or invoice and include the workspace, date, amount, and relevant request receipt when available. We will investigate and issue any credit or refund we determine is owed.
- A payment dispute does not remove undisputed amounts that remain due. Contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review the underlying usage and invoice.
- Voided or uncollectible invoices suspend additional paid API usage. After updating the payment method in the billing portal, use Retry collection in the Billing dashboard. Contact billing@adola.app if collection still fails or an invoice needs correction.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Adola for illegal activity; to violate another person's rights; to distribute malware; to gain unauthorized access; to evade rate, quota, or safety controls; or to disrupt the service or its providers.
- Do not submit content you lack the right to process. Do not submit credentials, payment-card data, protected health information, or other regulated or highly sensitive data unless Adola has expressly agreed in writing to support that data.
- You are responsible for your application, end users, prompts, tool calls, model outputs, and compliance with laws and service restrictions that apply to your use.
AI-generated output
- AI-generated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or non-unique. Adola does not guarantee factual accuracy or that output is fit for a particular purpose.
- Use human review and appropriate safeguards before relying on output for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, employment, housing, credit, or other high-impact decisions.
- You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use output and for verifying it against authoritative sources.
Suspension and termination
- You can stop future usage by revoking API keys and can request account deletion from Dashboard Settings. Charges incurred before access stops remain due.
- We may limit or suspend access to protect the service, respond to legal requirements, address security or abuse, enforce these Terms, or respond to failed payment. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to cure.
- We may terminate an account for a material or repeated breach. Terms that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, survive termination.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADOLA DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADOLA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
- TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADOLA'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ADOLA IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow every exclusion, so these limits apply only as far as the law permits.
Changes and contact
- We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice for material changes when required by law. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Pricing page, and any signed order form are the complete agreement for the service. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
- For billing questions, email billing@adola.app. For privacy questions, email privacy@adola.app. For sales or other service questions, use the Enterprise contact form.
